Supporting Missions and Missionaries
Emmanuel Assembly of God supports the chaplains, campus ministers, church planters, church builders, and other ministry specialists taking the gospel to the lost no matter where they are.
“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to the whole creation.” — Mark 16:15
Being a giving community that serves is something that Emmanuel Assemblies of God strives for. We believe that being the hands and feet of Christ means becoming involved in serving the community just as Jesus did. Our desire is not only to give to those in need, but share the love of Christ to meet the community's spiritual needs as well.
Sharing Jesus's love in our local community is important to us. One small way that we're trying to do that is by providing a monthly community lunch. On the second Saturday of each month, we are serving a free lunch at our church.
Teen Challenge is one of the oldest, largest and most successful program of its kind in the world. Teen Challenge New England serves individuals and families by providing Christian faith-based, long term residential recovery homes for more than 400 adults & adolescents and outreach and drug prevention programs to children and youth in schools and local communities.
Many hands are involved in God's work and we try to financially support as many missionaries as we can.
